Job Summary:

The HR Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the HR department in the implementation of HR policies and practices in Kuwait. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure that all HR processes are conducted in compliance with Kuwaiti labor laws and regulations. The HR Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate HR records, coordinating HR activities, and providing assistance and guidance to employees on HR related matters in Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and practices to support the organization’s objectives in Kuwait.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including employee files, and ensure compliance with Kuwaiti labor laws and regulations.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to employees on HR related matters in Kuwait, including employment contracts, benefits, and policies.
  • Coordinate HR activities, such as recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management in Kuwait.
  • Manage the employee database for Kuwait, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Prepare HR reports and statistics as required by the HR Manager in Kuwait.
  • Monitor and manage employee absence and leave in Kuwait, ensuring compliance with company policies and Kuwaiti labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain HR policies and procedures in Kuwait and ensure they are communicated effectively to all employees in Kuwait.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as required in Kuwait.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a similar role in Kuwait.
  • Strong knowledge of Kuwaiti labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

The HR Officer will be working in an office environment in Kuwait, typically Sunday to Thursday, with occasional requirements to work outside of normal business hours.
